Cross Browser testing (Microsoft style)

As responsible website developers we should always ensure that the pages are at the very least workable in all browsers, however it would appear that this is not the case with the webdeveloper team at Microsoft.

This particular page http://lync.microsoft.com .... es/what-is-lync.aspx, which looks like this in IE8
 Image Internet Exploder 8

appears somewhat differently in Firefox
 Image FireFox

Now, for the suspicious types it could be suggested that this is a ploy to ensure that firefox (as the closest rival to IE dominance) users are not welcome on Microsoft sites as the page works perfectly well in Opera, Safari, Google Chrome even IE6 and IE7 according to IETester, but in Firefox 3.6 and Seamonkey 1.1 which are both Mozilla projects the page is completely unreadable.

Accidental as a result of poor testing or a deliberate act? You decide for yourself.
