Am I impressed or what?

Apparently I have been appointed to the Global Inner Circle of the Continental Who's Who! Amazing!
It's just like I've won the Australian Lottery without buying a ticket and unlike the "Australian lottery" it not going to cost me £20 to register my claim.

And what is even more amazing, is that I have never heard of them never mind put myself forward for some election.
Dammit! You mean it's some kind of scam? I should have guessed it when it came in to an email account that isn't actually used by anyone at all and only exists to feed K9 with new material.

This is the email I was spammed with sent

So here I am, and the CWW believe, and I quote
" that your accomplishments as a respected professional in your area, merit earnest and intense consideration for inclusion"
They got my name wrong as well!

So George, You don't mind me calling you George do you? is it that you are inviting me ( "P.S. We are proud to invite you to our consortium.") OR am I already in and "have been appointed to our Global Inner Circle." because it can't be both. AND quite honestly I wouldn't class any of the "hundreds and thousands of professionals and your peers" that are dumb enough to sign up for yet another "social networking site" on the strength of a spam email, very professional, nor would I class them as peers!
If you resort to spamming BEFORE I have set digital foot inside your digital club, what are you going to do with my details once I have signed up?
Can I look forward to even more crap from your "marketing partners"?

In much the same way as everyone else I was so excited that I almost caste aside my coat of many disappointments and took up the runcible spoon of self agrandisment. Subsequent to receiving an email from the Right Honourable Professor George Balony I organised a party to which all my estranged family and friends were invited to bask in my newly engorged and thrusting powers of charismatic enchantment. No one turned up of course...bastards! It turns out that this is a scam. Surely not! It seems to me that scams are the laxative that makes crap happen so regularly. Just a thought.
